+) Potassium chloride is used as a raw material to provide K in fertilizer production. It is easily soluble in water and can be used immediately. After fertilizing the soil, plants can replace H+ ions in the absorption complex, making the soil solution acidic.

+) When using a single fertilizer, KCl is usually sprinkled evenly on the topsoil (above the soil and arable land). It can also be applied centrally near the seed.
